Andrew Leeke (Solicitor)

Andrew founded the firm in 1976, and since then he has acquired a wealth and breadth of experience in all areas of property, particularly residential and commercial.  His advice is informed by a knowledge of and experience in other areas of the law, including probate, administration of estates, inheritance tax planning and general problem solving.

Retaining many valued clients in the locality, his practice in the last twenty years has migrated to London, where he handles high value property acquisitions and disposals, for a time holding the record for the acquisition of an individual residential property at £90M.  At this level, standard legal conventions in the conveyancing process can no longer be relied upon requiring a back to basics approach and the ability to remain calm.

His clients include offshore trustees, special purpose vehicles and high net worth individuals from abroad and at home as well as loyal clients of many years.  He remains approachable, straightforward and down to earth.  He promotes an ethos throughout the firm that our prime purpose is to ensure that a client reaches his or her desired destination with the minimum of fuss and stress.

Andrew has many interests outside the law. He is Chairman of a flood resilience charity and, as a Yachtmaster and co- founder of the Fleet Cruising Club welcomes any enquiries from aspiring sailors who may like to join.
