Our History

Pinkerton Leeke & Co was founded on 1 January 1976 by Andrew Leeke and Francis Pinkerton

Francis Pinkerton left the firm in 1999 to join the judiciary and was a Senior Immigration Judge in London before his recent retirement.

Initially practising from No. 4 Ormond Terrace, Regent Street, Cheltenham, the offices at Nos. 7 & 8 Ormond Terrace became available in 1981 and have been the home of the practice ever since. In November 1999, one of the oldest practices in Cheltenham, Robson & Brooks, was acquired and in 2005, Mr Allan Burt of the established firm of Redwood Burt joined the practice bringing with him his entire client base.

Mr Burt has now retired and the clients of Redwood Burt are looked after by Victoria Draper.

The firm has been established for more than thirty years and serves clients throughout England and Wales, advising many overseas clients on property and probate matters within the jurisdiction.
